Meet Kerri Yamashita, attorney and counselor at law.

Before moving her practice to the Hudson Valley, Ms. Yamashita worked for one of the largest law firms in the world representing clients throughout the New York metropolitan area. Ms. Yamashita has represented parties in more than a hundred trials in courts in New York, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia among other jurisdictions. 

Since 2013, Ms. Yamashita has represented the People of the State of New York in more than ten thousand cases in her capacity as a special prosecutor.

 

Ms. Yamashita is the president of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY). She served as the president of the Mid-Hudson Chapter and also served on the Executive Committee of WBASNY from 2013-2014 and she has served as a representative of the Mid-Hudson Chapter to the nominations, legislative, and ethics committees of WBASNY.

In 2022, Ms. Yamashita founded Nationwide Seminars LLC, a member of the National Safety Council, and she acts as the Chief Executive Officer as well as a certified Alive at 25 instructor.

Ms. Yamashita enjoys snowboarding and running 5k races with her daughter and her husband. Her family has resided in beautiful Rhinebeck, New York since 2007.
